UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell is in the media spotlight after announcing his plans to homeschool his toddler son, Tucker, to prevent him from becoming gay, communist, or a Satanist.

When discussing his plans for the future of his new son, the no.12 ranked featherweight fighter in the world, Bryce Mitchell said, “We’re gonna have to homeschool all our kids or they’re going to end up turning gay.”

In his announcement, Mitchell also warned against vaccinating children because vaccines could kill them or make them autistic and to not trust scientific evidence that claims the contrary.

Mitchell told parents, “I want to encourage ya’ll not to vaccinate your children because I think it’s bad for their health.”

Mitchell continued, “It could potentially kill them. Give them some type of… Make them autistic. Seriously, these vaccines are poisonous. Don’t vaccinate your kids.”

Criticising Public Education

Mitchell also criticized the public education system for a lack of religious teachings in schools, which he believes has demoralized the country.

Biblical Teachings vs. Literature

Mitchell focused on schools removing the Bible from their libraries and instead filling them with books from authors like Edgar Allen Poe, whom he criticized for marrying his cousin.

Replacing the Bible

Mitchell said, “Out of the public schools, they took the most valuable book of all time… the bible. They took it out of the schools and replaced it with Edgar Allen Poe who shacked up with his cousin.”

Healthcare Denial

Mitchell also refused a PKU screening for his son, which many believe to be a vital test that can prevent serious health issues. Then Mitchell claimed that authorities threatened to take his son due to his refusal of medical care.

When discussing his decision, Mitchell said, “I was told DHS was gunna come get my kid cause I didn’t let the doc stick him with a needle.”

Controversial History

Unfortunately, Mitchell has a history of making controversial statements, like when they presented a challenge to Joe Rogan over the shape of the earth and claimed that gravity does not exist.

Closer to God

Mitchell said, “When you understand that the Earth is flat and there’s a dome around it, you’ll probably be like me and just be closer to God after you realize the actual shape of the Earth.”

No Such Thing as Gravity

Mitchell has also made claims that gravity does not exist, that objects fall due to density differences, and that gravity doesn’t actually exist despite the research that says otherwise.

Mitchell explained his disbelief in gravity by stating, “It’s density. This paper, when it drops it’s because it’s more dense than the world around it, not because of some magical thing called gravity.”

Public Reaction

In response to his Instagram video, many people commented and mocked the fighter for views they believed to be, at best, ignorant and uninformed and, at their worst, potentially harmful to children.

After seeing the backlash to his comments, Mitchell reiterated that he is only trying to do what he believes is best for everyone, and the people trying to twist his words into something else are the real threat.

Mitchell went to Instagram to say, “I just got love in my heart so if someone twists my words and makes me look like the bad guy, you will kno the real enemy.”

Political Athletes

Strangely enough, this latest piece of outspoken political speech from athletes is becoming a part of the new norm, as more and more athletes are coming forward with a political agenda.

Butker’s Speech

Just last month Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker delivered a commencement speech at Benedictine College and discussed “family values” like the traditional roles of men and women.

A Different Generation

Butker said, “We need a different generation of kids that are willing to say no that’s not right, there is such a thing as right and wrong, I’m not going to in for all of this lefty garbage and I just thought that his calls for folks to stand up and be bold was great.”
